I'm Janelle. I guess I should tell you what an accomplished and qualified artist I am, right? The honest truth is, I'm just a girl who loves to paint. I never went to art school, in fact, I'm a collage drop out. But that hasn't stopped me from doing what I love. I was born and raised in Colorado and grew up with an immense love for the mountains and nature. I also love romantic period dramas, fantasy adventure stories, gardening and baking shows. I am a food enthusiast, holiday fanatic, and absolutely obsessed with flowers. Above all else, you should know that I am a wife, a mother, and a Christ follower. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I love and welcome all people from all faiths and backgrounds here in my corner of the internet.

My passion for art started at a young age. I have always loved art history and painting, but it wasn't until the spring of 2017, not long after I became a mother searching for quiet moments to myself, that I made painting and art more of a priority in my life. Since then, I haven't looked back and I've been actively creating as much as I can. Painting has blessed my life immensely, and has become something I can turn to, to find clarity and peace.
